My brother-in-law, Mark Pereira, is a national pastor in southern Portugal, and they have a real need for someone to come on a short-term missions trip to help them set up a more effective media ministry and train some of his church members to continue it.

Our parents took us to church every time the doors opened, and sent us to every youth activity. They made sure we went to good Christian colleges. But they forgot about our hearts.

It absolutely thrills me because God’s plan for reaching Barcelona is so much bigger than me. I know that He is planning on moving in big ways, and whenever He does He includes His people: not because they are just so special, but because our God is a gracious God who loves letting us in to see His power and glory at work.
I find it truly disturbing that so many of God’s people are not illiterate but they are aliterate. They have the ability to read, but lack the desire or habit of reading!
