I wanted to say a big thank-you to all the churches we have been in recently, God has given us a great month with some really wonderful meetings!
6.29.11- Harvest Baptist Tabernacle, Jonesboro GA
Bro Dave Maddox is the assistant pastor here, an amazing testimony of serving God as a layperson, and God just kept giving him more opportunities as he did whatever he was asked to do. God uses willing people! Super friendly church, really enjoyed getting to present our ministry there.
7.3.11- Heavenbound Baptist Church, Savannah GA
Pastor Alderman was very gracious to let me teach SS and preach the AM service, especially because we showed up in a car with no AC! I was sticky, to say the least. Thank the Lord it’s fixed now!
7.6.11- Ridgeview Baptist Church, Walland TN
Had wonderful time with Pastor Sexton and his church family. Was very impressed by bro Nichols, who is heading up a Hispanic ministry. The impressive thing is, he is just learning Spanish, didn’t have any experience with Hispanic ministry, but just saw a need and wanted to share the Gospel. Can’t wait to see what God does there!
7.10.11- Emmanuel Baptist Church, Brunswick GA
Could say a lot of things about this church (all of them good), but the best thing I could say is that Pastor Johnson preached the Bible. That may sound obvious, but it is not a given. A lot of people preach, not everyone preaches the Bible. I don’t always get to hear many messages on the road because I’m preaching, but he dug into the text, explained it, and applied it. I was very glad (for once) that I DIDN’T preach!
7.17.11- Faith Baptist Church, Lyons GA
I felt terrible about this meeting. I was supposed to preach, but during SS my wife’s stomach virus finally caught up to me. I won’t go into details, but breakfast was a goner. I barely made it through presenting the ministry. The church was very sweet to us though! Thanks for letting us come, and for putting up with me.
7.17.11- Bible Baptist Church, Statesboro GA
One of the friendliest churches we’ve ever been to, blown away by how many people came to our display to ask questions and encourage us. Also our newest partnering church!
